GPAL – one of the basic learning tools used by the Dutch Armed Forces
The Dutch Armed Forces recommends GPAL for practical training and independent learning
The Dutch Armed Forces is continuously improving the learning tools used internally. An important part of this is connecting working methods with digital tools. Due to the Corona pandemic, hundreds of courses and training programmes had to change quickly, and remote learning became a viable option.
Adaptive as they are, the Armed Forces realised this change in a very short time and created an infographic of it so trainers can quickly see what resources they have at their disposal. GPAL is listed in the purple rectangle as a tool for practical teaching and as an independent learning tool.
Check out our case on how the Medical School DGOTC uses GPAL to improve practical teaching.
GPAL is listed in the purple rectangle as a tool for practical teaching and as an independent learning tool. Zo adviseert Defensie GPAL aan voor praktijkgericht en zelfstandig lesgeven. With GPAL, the instructor can easily create instructional videos and share them with students. Students can then work independently on the assignment, film themselves and receive personal feedback. This therefore makes it possible to have hands-on and remote teaching.
